 Billing Policies

 

Weekly Automatic Billing Plans

Weekly Plans offer deeply discounted rates which are less than 1/2 the average rate for other tutoring services on Maui. We do not credit weekly plan accounts for any unused hours.

We will make exceptions to this rule only for:

 

Sick Days (Applies to Subscription plans only) – We will credit your account for up to six sick days per calendar year for illness, family emergency, etc.

  • Vacation Days (Applies to Subscription plans only) - You provide us with at least a two week notice that you are taking a vacation. All of our students will be entitled to a maximum of two weeks of vacation allowance time per calendar year under the weekly automatic billing plans. During your vacation allowance time, we will suspend billing on your account for up to two weeks.

 

If you do not plan to attend regular weekly tutoring sessions then we recommend our Tutoring Time Blocks instead. Tutoring Time blocks offer deeply discounted rates, but require a higher upfront investment.

 

Cancelling or changing tutoring sessions

We require a minimum of 24 hour written/email notice during office hours of 9 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday to cancel a tutoring session. For all block plan clients, cancelled tutoring sessions will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee. If you are a weekly tutoring plan client, you will not be charged a $10 cancellation fee because you are already forfeiting your credit for the cancellation. We are not able to accept cancellation or change requests by telephone or text message.

 

Cancellation Notices

All tutoring clients will be required to provide us with a written, full two week, cancellation notice to cancel your tutoring account with us. Home and Charter School Plan clients are required to provide a 4 week notice to cancel your account.

 

Late pick-up Charges

All students must be on time for their tutoring sessions. If you start late, your session will still end at the scheduled time and you will be billed for the full session.  All students must be picked-up from our learning center on time.  Student pick-ups occurring more than 10 minutes late will be charged a $25 late pick-up fee.

 

Late Payment Fees

Late payments will incur a charge of $15.00 and an 8% interest charge per day for all declined or uncollected payments.
